The Caribbean American Heritage Foundation of Texas
The Caribbean American Heritage Foundation of Texas (CAHFT), a 501 (c)(3) cultural and arts non-profit organization, was established exclusively to partner with, collaborate with Organizations to bring awareness the rich, lush history the Caribbean Arts and Culture, to promote its benefits and our contributions to the diverse cultures in our world, and the assist the citizens of the Caribbean to live healthy lives. We work in the Caribbean to: improve people’s lives and spur personal development; provide quality education to children; to provide healthily nutritious meals to children through support of school feeding programs; work to provide good health and assist the people of the Caribbean live healthy lives, and to promote peaceful societies and institutions in the Caribbean. The Caribbean American Heritage Foundation of Texas works to and assist Texas Caribbean Organizations achieve their goals: education, heath, and cultural, objectives through strategic partnership and mutual collaborations, in the spirit of cooperation.

CAHFT partners with National Government, non-profit organizations and private enterprise in the United States and the Caribbean to promote programs that encourage youth and adult educational programs and advancement, promote healthy lifestyles by assisting is raising awareness of diseases such as diabetes and hypertension, and partnering with health organizations to provide education and treatment for these and other diseases prominent in nations in the Caribbean Basin.


 

Caribbean American Heritage Month Another of our core missions is to recognize and annually celebrate National Caribbean-American Heritage Month, June of every year with a Cultural Arts Festival and a Caribbean Film Festival; in doing so, we work to bring awareness to the contributions made to our society and culture of peoples of  Caribbean heritage and highlighting the contribution made by Caribbean immigrants to  the United States and Texas.  Through our efforts during June, we continue our dialogue between the Caribbean and our American and Texas communities through our arts and cultural outreach.
 

Working On Behalf of our Caribbean Community
We work tirelessly to establish the Caribbean Communities as a united voice  while advocating on behalf of the peoples of Caribbean descent. We also work to maintain the Foundation as a social, cultural and Arts presence in our diverse community, capable of bringing visible change and achievement through our advocacy of Caribbean Arts and Culture.
