Goals & Objectives


One Voice
To have the Caribbean Community speak as one voice in times of need such as natural disasters in the Caribbean

 

Economic
Have a visible economic presence in the community by forming strategic partnerships with various business entities (Chambers of Commerce, The Caribbean Business Council) and with various individuals and businesses

 
Civic Education
This effort will allow educating and engagement of Caribbean-Americans, elected leaders and the general community of the social development in civic engagement  of the Caribbean Community in the state of Texas , the Gulf Coast Region and the United States.

 

Medical/Hospitality
Host our fellow countryman traveling to the Texas’ Medical Center for procedures; provide health care informational seminars to the Caribbean community

 
Domestic and Foreign Communications
Establish lines of communications with state, local and national government as well as Caribbean Nations Head of State and governing bodies such as Caricom
 
Educational
Provide scholarships and internships to local students and students in the Caribbean.  Partner with Universities for scholarship opportunities and work to establish exchange programs.  Assist our youth and place them in Summer Job Programs
 
Informational
Have an online magazine  to keep our Caribbean community aware of current events
 
Media
Create a television program which will program news, entertainment, sporting news to the community.  Partner with local radio personalities in the Caribbean community
